Super Series is a new European Bowling tour that started 2003, with it´s first competition in Aalborg, Denmark. The new tournament has 6 tour stops and a grande finale in Jönköping, Sweden, during easter 2004. The prize money will be the highest ever in Sweden. Swedish Television, SVT, NRK, Norwegian Television and Viasat Denmark is broadcasting the finals from each tour stops live. The Grande Finale in Jönköping will be broadcasted live on Swedish National channel and can be wied all over the country. Today the tour stops are in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, but in a very short time, probably the season 2004/2005, the tour will expand to the rest of the European bowling countries. Those countries will probably be Germany, England, Spain, France and Italy.

Super Series Rules and Regulations

Rules for the final in Aalborg. SKINS
The 16 highest and present positioned players after the 5 stops are qualified to the final.
If two or more players ends up on same points they separates so that the player with the highest points in any tournament gets the higher rank, then the second highest point and so on.

Strike counting in Step 1
12 throws on 10 pins / One point for a strike
10 highest point sums to continue / 6 players are leaving with 500 €

Strike counting in Step 2
10 players / 12 throws on 10 pins / One point for a strike
5 highest point sums to continue / 5 players are leaving with 800 €

Step 3 - SKINS
The 5 finalists will be awarded 1.000 € each plus the skin prizes

Round 1-9 (two throws in a round)
No strikes in throw one and no winner of the round
One and only one player with two strikes is the winner
If no winner, the money continues to the next round

Round 10 (multiple number of throws)
No players with a strikes in a throw and all continues
If some strikes, the ones without are out,
Remaining player throws again
If some strikes, the ones without are out,
and so on until there is only one player left

Equal rules for every tournament

Rules for Roll-off in match-play
When the match play starts, and if one game is tied there is a one ball roll-off. The player's start on the same lane as they finished. The best ranked player decides who will start the roll-off. If tied remains, change lanes and order.

Players area
No one except, referees and the tour director of Super Series, are allowed on the players area during the game. No coaches are allowed on the players area during the game.

Professional player
Super Series allowes all professional players to enter.
