Super Series is a new European Bowling tour that started 2003, with it´s first competition in Aalborg, Denmark. The new tournament has 6 tour stops and a grande finale in Jönköping, Sweden, during easter 2004. The prize money will be the highest ever in Sweden. Swedish Television, SVT, NRK, Norwegian Television and Viasat Denmark is broadcasting the finals from each tour stops live. The Grande Finale in Jönköping will be broadcasted live on Swedish National channel and can be wied all over the country. Today the tour stops are in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, but in a very short time, probably the season 2004/2005, the tour will expand to the rest of the European bowling countries. Those countries will probably be Germany, England, Spain, France and Italy.

Bowling in Evje, for Shore.

A bunch of bowlers, including Ann Louise Haugen, is right now on the lanes in Evje, in the south part of Norway. Every one of them dreams of something more than a perfect game. They dream of two perfect games. If so, they will be, as an owner of a brand new Vector from Skibsplast, ready for a ride offshore (see picture in the end of this news).

The 17 years old Ann-Louise Haugen from Evje is climbing on the ladder to be a successful bowler, maybe the best Norwegian female bowler ever. In the European Youth Championship in Augsburg, Germany in April, 2005 she received the first Norwegian Gold Medal in a Championship outside Scandinavia. The Five-Team from Norway played their game far better than any other team and had a distance to the Silver medallists, England, by a 140 points.

- Listening to the Norwegian anthem on the top of the podium was unbelievable. And now I wish I may go all the way to the top and listen to it again, maybe alone next time, she told the journalist at the magazine Faedrelandsvennen.

She have an excellent opportunity later this year when she go to Ljubljana, for the AMF World Cup. She could be the youngest competitor in Slovenia. The runner up in World Cup in Singapore 2004, Petter Hansen will do her company in this Championship.

Evje Open is in progress. Petter is in the 2nd position in the qualifications and will take one of the 20 tickets for a journey to the final. Ann-Louise is on the edge and need a round of 675 or more to get on a steadier ground.

Finals will be played on sunday.
