SuperSeries

Super Series is a new European Bowling tour that started 2003, with it´s first competition in Aalborg, Denmark. The new tournament has 6 tour stops and a grande finale in Jönköping, Sweden, during easter 2004. The prize money will be the highest ever in Sweden. Swedish Television, SVT, NRK, Norwegian Television and Viasat Denmark is broadcasting the finals from each tour stops live. The Grande Finale in Jönköping will be broadcasted live on Swedish National channel and can be wied all over the country. Today the tour stops are in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, but in a very short time, probably the season 2004/2005, the tour will expand to the rest of the European bowling countries. Those countries will probably be Germany, England, Spain, France and Italy.

Tomas Leandersson gives free seminar in Helsingborg

A master on the Lanes and a living Legend in Bowling welcomes everyone to a free seminar at Olympia Bowling during the qualifications in Super Series. On Friday 19th of August at 19.00 he will give the audience information about some new products in the Pro Shops.

After 10 years as a chain of Pro Shops he now makes Team Tuba
as a retail dealer in the Bowling Business. He and his staff will marketing the product lines from Morich, Legends and Lane Master.

- I will show 6 new balls and give the participants a detailed description of their features and area of usage. But I will also take the opportunity to tell some stories of my life as a bowler. Maybe give them an answer why I still go for tournaments to compete, and still hate to lose a game. They may get some tips how to improve as a bowler and of course there will be plenty of time for me to answer questions.

- I hope my seminar will do something for the tournament in Helsingborg. The SuperSeries Tour is on of the best Tour in the world. Well organized tournaments and very high standards of players. It’s important that SuperSeries will continue as well as SuperSix, the Swedish Tour. So if I can do something for the Tours I surely will do it.

The World Champion Ulf Hämnäs has put a lot of his qualities as a trainer in a training program for players. The program is suited for internet and one of the most interesting news regarding to Bowling I’ve ever seen.

Today Tomas work with Team Tuba and recently get into a role as a sport manager of Pergamon (the best bowling club in the world).

- No other Bowling Club in the world content so many good bowlers as Pergamon, no doubt. But it is still possible to increase the quality on every player. Attitude, physical standard, mental strength, technique is some of the areas that could be developed. Every player needs to create an own progress to be a better bowler. My job is to help them in their work in that progress.
