Team Sweden sat the pace in Olympia Tournament. And the biggest score of them all was from Robert Anderssons hand, 1450. Tomas Leandersson could have been the winner of the first squad but two games under 200 spoiled the chance to reach the top position. 1389 was three points better than Peter Ljung and 16 points better than the fourth member of the Team Sweden, Martin Larsen. Four out of six players in Team Sweden participated in the Early Bird squad and all of them ended up in Top 8.

- The last weeks I have been practice all the fundamental parts in my bowling. Length of the steps, Gnilwob and things like that, said Robert directly after his big score.
- I played with an Agent all evening except for the 10 times I need to use my spare ball.
- I’ve got the feeling that I’m on the right way for the World Championship in Korea. Now I will go back to Gothenburg fore some more practice and gome back on Thursday for the meeting with the Team and coach Magnus Johnson.

Some tournaments ago Robert played “the Angry Game” with Tore Torgersen (Picture above). Robert won the game at that time and today he also showed to the former PBA-pro how to play “the Bowling Game”. Tore gave up after 4 games and ended up far from Robert in the first squad.

Another player with every chance to do big things in Korea within some weeks, is the Danish top player Jesper Agerbo (picture below). On Sunday he was in semi final in Danish Masters and on Monday he was runner-up in the early Bird squad in Helsingborg. On the third position we find the best lefty so far, Tony Fransson, Team Pergamon

The qualification will continue on Tuesday with the Dream 17 squad. Read all about it on Olympia tournaments website.

50 players from 9 countries played in the first squad.
